McLaren Oakland was awarded Primary Stroke Certification from the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP), an independent, accreditation organization recognized by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). It earned this distinction after HFAP conducted an extensive and objective review of McLaren Oakland ER/Trauma’s quality and safety standards.
An open house is scheduled for Monday, March 11th to highlight some of the advancements McLaren Oakland has committed to in stroke clinical management. The open house will begin with a presentation at 7:00 AM in the west tower lobby. McLaren Oakland physicians, local Fire and Emergency Medical Services, media personnel, and all members of the community are invited to attend.

This certification will help by expediting care to patients suffering a stroke.”
