McLaren Health

Dermatology

The academic training in this three-year program includes conferences and formal lectures in dermatology with attending staff, KodachromeTM slide identification, lectures by subspecialists in other disciplines, and a weekly journal club.

Residents are encouraged to initiate and complete a clinical project during their training. The program is supported by the Hospital's Clinic for Diseases of the Skin, which is supervised by a board-certified specialist in dermatology. Residents are required to make presentations at departmental meetings, area schools, and continuing education programs for physicians. Residents also participate at state and national dermatology meetings.
