The trauma team at McLaren Macomb is a group of surgeons who have been specially trained in advanced trauma care. They are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The team includes orthopedic surgeons, vascular and cardiothoracic surgeons, neurosurgeons, oral-maxillofacial surgeons and plastic surgeons. Also on the team are anesthesiologists, radiologists, as well as staff from physical medicine, internal medicine and rehabilitation.
Other physician specialists may be consulted when needed.
