Bernadette Gendernalik, D.O., of Ann Arbor, has been named president/chief of the medical staff at McLaren–Macomb (formerly Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center).
Dr. Gendernalik earned her medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency at Bi-County Hospital (now Henry Ford Macomb Hospital-Warren). Dr. Gendernalik currently practices with McLaren Family Medicine Metro in Clinton Township. She has been on McLaren–Macomb’s medical staff since 1988.
In addition to practicing family medicine, Dr. Gendernalik is an assistant professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Other medical staff officers for 2012 are: Andrew Staricco, M.D., vice-president; Christopher O’Connell, D.O., secretary/treasurer; and James E. Johnson, D.O., past chief of staff.
