McLaren-Macomb Cancer Committee
The Cancer Committee has leadership responsibility and accountability for cancer program activities at McLaren-Macomb. It is multidisciplinary, representing physicians from the diagnostic and treatment specialties, and non-physicians from administrative and supportive services provided to cancer patients. Arthur Frazier, MD, Chair
Dr. Frazier, a Board-certified radiation oncologist, joined McLaren-Macomb in 2004 as Medical Director of Radiation Oncology. He received his medical training at the Medical College of Virginia and completed his internship and residency at William Beaumont Hospital. Dr Frazier practices at the Ted B. Wahby Cancer Center at McLaren-Macomb.

Michael Smith, DO, Cancer Liaison, Coordinator of Community Outreach
On staff since 1984, Dr. Smith is a surgeon who received his medical training at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at McLaren-Macomb. Dr. Smith is a leader in minimally invasive surgeries and those that pertain to cancer.

Andrew Staricco, MD, Coordinator of Process Improvement
On staff since 1997, Dr. Staricco MD is a practicing pulmonologist and critical care specialist. He practices at Pulmonary Critical Care Associates. Dr. Staricco received his medical training at Wayne State University. He completed his internship and residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center. He also completed a fellow ship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Henry Ford Hospital.

Monroe Adams, DO, Coordinator of Quality Control of Cancer Registry Data
A McLaren-Macomb affiliated physician since 1976, Dr. Adams, a pathologist, is chair of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. He graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at McLaren-Macomb. He is a member of many medical associations and has held governing positions with several of them. He has also been a member of many McLaren-Macomb committees and is currently Chair of the Utilization Review Committee.
