DescriptionMcLaren Greater Lansing’s Obstetrics Unit has developed a postpartum support group – “A Brighter Tomorrow” – that will meet the second and fourth Monday of each month. The group meets the 1st Thursday of the month. There is no cost, and fathers and other support persons are are welcome. “Our Postpartum Depression Support Team is committed to helping new mothers recognize and overcome the emotional and physical changes that occur following the birth of a baby,” says Courtney Parrott, R.N. “We want mothers to know they have a safe haven to come and discuss their feelings without fear of being shamed or judged.”
