There are many ways to give to McLaren Central Michigan. In addition to the gift investments discussed here, there are additional options for giving. You are encouraged to call upon your financial or legal advisor or the assistance of the McLaren Central Michigan Hospital Foundation staff, who will be pleased to talk about the appropriate contribution for you.
Memorials and Living Tributes- Gifts made in memory or in honor of a loved one are the perfect way to pay tribute while benefiting your community hospital. Your donation will be recognized and acknowledgment will be given to the family as you indicate.
Annual Gifts - An annual gift is a flexible contribution which can change from year to year. This donation can be made at any time throughout the year, with no specific guidelines. You can choose to make a donation whenever it is possible for you, or the McLaren Central Michigan Hospital Foundation can set up a convenient payment plan. Gifts may be designated toward a specific purpose or given where the hospital needs it most.
Designated Gifts - A designated gift is a contribution intended for a specific purpose at McLaren Central Michigan. Perhaps a family member received outstanding care in a department and you want to show your appreciation by supporting the department with a gift. Maybe your interest in cardiac care, cancer care or wellness education is where you would like your contribution to benefit. McLaren Central Michigan is pleased to accept your designated gift and report the use to you.
Planned Gifts - Planned gifts include gifts through your will, gifts of life insurance, charitable gift annuities and charitable trusts and other long-term investments or commitments to McLaren Central Michigan. Planned gifts have many tax benefits for the donor and can benefit McLaren Central Michigan greatly. For specific information, contact the McLaren Central Michigan Hospital Foundation. Planned Gift donors are recognized as part of the "Visionary Society".
Endowed Gifts - The McLaren Central Michigan Fund in the Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation is an endowed fund. The principal is never spent, resulting in a "savings account" for future health care needs of our community hospital. Contributions to the McLaren Central Michigan Fund in the Community Foundation qualify for maximum charitable benefit under State and Federal law. Special Events - McLaren Central Michigan offers many special events throughout the year, including the Charles E. Anthony Memorial "Zipper Open" Golf Outing, and Live Well Weekend.
