Minimum Qualifications   Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center, a McLaren Health System member, is currently accepting resumes from qualified candidates for the role of Coordinator, Clinical Pharmacy. This is a full-time position reporting to the Manager, Pharmacy.

The Pharmacy at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center works with the medical and hospital staff providing drug therapy for the purpose of achieving optimal outcomes that improves a patient's health.

To be considered candidates must have the following qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Pharmacy.

Pharm D or Masters degree and/or residency in a hospital pharmacy is highly preferred.

Current State of Michigan Registered Pharmacist License –required.

Current State of Michigan Pharmacist Controlled Substance License–required.

Completes at least 30 hours of approved continuing education credits every two years as required by the Michigan Board of Pharmacy for maintenance of active Pharmacy License-required.

One year of prior clinical Pharmacy work experience is required.

Five or more years of prior clinical Pharmacy experience is preferred.
Primary Duties   The Coordinator, Clinical Pharmacy provides pharmaceutical care to patients in assigned work units.

Plans, develops, implements, and monitors the performance of clinical pharmacy services.

Provides information, education, and consultation services to the medical center staff and to patients.

Assists with the development and execution of drug utilization evaluation reviews.

Assists with administrative duties.

Evaluates requests for addition to the formulary, reviews medication-related policies, and makes recommendations as a member of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.
