Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Michigan nursing license. Bachelors degree strongly preferred. Minimum of three years experience doing inpatient surgical nursing. Clinical chart review and data abstraction experience needed. Quality improvement knowledge and experience preferred. Strong computer competency using Microsoft products is essential. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills are necessary.
Primary Duties
Under the general direction of the Manager, Quality and Risk Management Services, performs reliable clinical screening and data compilation to identify opportunities for clinical quality improvement as part of the organization's involvement with the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Project (NSQIP).
