The Mat Gaberty Heart Center at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center provides a comprehensive range of cardiac services from basic diagnostic screenings to catheterizations to open heart surgery as well as follow-up rehabilitation.
The Heart Center is staffed with highly trained and experienced physicians, nurses, physiologists and technicians who provide quality and compassionate care to our patients.
The mission of the Mat Gaberty Heart Center is to improve the health of the people we serve. In order to accomplish our mission, an extensive program was developed around a team concept. The program's multidisciplinary team approach consists of a full range of specially trained doctors, nurses, physical therapists, dietitians, technologists, technicians, and social workers working together with you to improve your health.
Patient education is key to the Heart Center program. The staff encourages your active participation in learning about your heart and healthy lifestyle practices to promote healthy living.
The best way to access the Heart Center is to park on the east side of the hospital and come through the main entrance. Turn right and proceed through the Outpatient Registration area to the Heart Center Waiting Room (you will see a beautiful fish aquarium along the far wall). If you enter at the Main Entrance on the west side of the hospital, ask our Welcome Center volunteers to assist you in locating the Heart Center.
