McLaren Bay Medical Foundation’s campaign to raise $50,000 for the Helen M. Nickless Volunteer Clinic before December 31st has been “an overwhelming success,” according to Matthew Felan, Director, McLaren Bay Medical Foundation.

As of December 31st, the campaign raised $68,041 for the Helen M. Nickless Volunteer Clinic, along with the $50,000 match from the Nickless Family Charitable Foundation, totaling $118,041 – which comes to nearly four years of a lost Community Development Block Grant.

“Our success in this fundraising effort was because of the support, generosity and hard work of the McLaren Bay Medical Foundation Board, Hospital Board, McLaren Bay Region employees, the community, and our Foundation staff,” said Felan.  “The Helen M. Nickless Volunteer Clinic is such an important part of our community and with this support we will ensure its funding for years to come.”
