McLaren Bay Region’s Sports and Rehabilitation is pleased to offer a new service called Concussion Management. The NeuroCom Sensory Organization Test (SOT) helps provide parents, coaches and physicians with baseline scores of your childs balance and sensory skills before he or she begins to play sports, which can then be used to assist with “safe” return-to-play decision making, in the event of a concussion.
NeuroCom is the gold standard for postural stability assessment following a concussion. The $40 fee includes a preseason NeuroCom Sensory Organizational Test (SOT); up to 3 follow-up NeuroCom SOT tests to assist in determining return-to-play and access to further rehabilitative assessments and management (additional fee).
