What to Know About Diabetes Education Classes

What to bring with you:
- A list of your current medications, including insulin doses
- Your blood sugar log and your glucose meter
- Your health insurance card and driver's license.
A friend or family member may attend with you as a guest without charge.
We will be performing a foot exam. You may find it easier to wear slip-on shoes.
We will be checking your blood pressure and blood sugar at class. You do not need to fast for the blood sugar check.
Group classes last three hours, however, we do take a break in the middle. We suggest a meal or snack before coming to class to prevent a long delay in eating.
